I love photographing people, especially in theatre, the arts and corporate environments.
As an active actor, singer and performer, I understand how theatre works. This allows me to get those important shots that really tell the story.
And having worked as a corporate communications professional for 15 years, I know how to capture the images that help you to promote your business, its people and its values, both internally and externally.
So please get in touch today to find out how I can help you.
I'm absolutely at home in a theatre or performance space, from traditional proscenium arches to theatre-in-the-round, studio spaces and even outdoor theatre.
I'll use my knowledge and experience as a performer to capture high-quality images that promote your show, tell its story and show your set, costumes, lighting design and, of course, your performance, at its best.
I normally attend dress-rehearsals, giving me freedom of movement to get dynamic and creative shots. And I'll turn round the images by the next morning, including hosting them on social media, so that you can use them to promote your show ahead of opening night.
And I can also work discreetly at a live performance, capturing impressive images while ensuring your audience enjoy the show undisturbed.
I love coming to rehearsals and seeing, and capturing, the creative process in action.
I'll photograph your production as it progresses, capturing performance-style imagery as well as more candid, human moments from the rehearsal room.
Rehearsal photography tends to work best later in the process once performers are working without scripts and are confident with dance routines.
Rehearsal shots are perfect for promoting your show and use in programmes.
If I'm photographing your dress rehearsal, this is also a great opportunity for me to get to know the show, understand key moments and get to know the cast and creative team.
I offer a range of headshot options using my fully-mobile studio equipment.
I offer 1:1 headshot sessions, allowing for a range of poses, backgrounds, outfits, hairstyles and lighting options. This is ideal for actors and performers who need headshots for their portfolio, auditions and casting.
For larger shows and performances, I offer cast headshot sessions, normally as part of a rehearsal, where I will capture images of each cast member in a consistent style - perfect for promoting the show and use in the programme.
I love working with creatives to come up with innovative ways to promote shows through photographs and imagery.
This includes on-location shoots, highly-stylised portraits, staged scenes and more.
High-quality, eye-catching promotional shots are ideal for promoting your show - on social media, posters, flyers, banners, press releases, adverts and websites.
They can really help to set the tone of your show and can even form part of the creative process in terms of character development, costuming and set design.
While I specialise in theatrical and performance photography, my passion is people.
I spent 15 years working in corporate communications, both internal and external, for organisations for whom brand and reputation is everything. I truly understand the importance of high-quality corporate and commercial imagery that portrays your values and your people.
So whether it's corporate headshots for LinkedIn, portraits of the executive board, natural shots of your people in an office environment, colleagues working in construction and industrial environments, exhibitions, conferences, events, balls and celebrations or product launches, I can capture the images that count.
