It's been a busy week. Finishing and launching this site. Talking to customers old, new and potential. Lots of admin, meetings with the bank, sorting out tax. Not to mention spending some lovely time with my family and running the BHF Warwick Half Marathon - my first run of this distance and I managed to squeeze into my 2 hour goal with 20 seconds to spare. Thanks to everyone who helped me to raise nearly £250 for charity.
But what about photography? I was thrilled to do my first shoot as a full-time pro last night as the Peterbrook Players performed Spamalot at The Core Theatre in Solihull. They're an absolutely lovely group, their shows are superb, and The Core make my job easy with great technical support, staging and lighting.
I had to work hard to keep up with the action, especially with every muscle aching from running 13 miles the day before! I don't think I've laughed as much while working - I was genuinely struggling to keep the camera steady in some scenes. Do grab one of the handful of remaining tickets if you can, and look out for a few surprises Richard Agg, the director, has held back from the production shots...
Could Spamalot be the funniest musical there is? Let me know in the comments if you think there's one better.
